It’s been a crazy few months, to say the least! As things are starting to return to normal, we figured we would give an update.
Our top priority is making sure that we can play in a safe and healthy environment. While some places are giving the green light to play, we still have to wait for the final thumbs up from local municipalities and the organizations that run the fields.
While we are all excited to get back on the pitch, we prioritize player safety and therefore we are formulating plans and procedures to ensure we meet our guidelines and the state’s.
In the meantime, we are taking this time to work on making Gotham the best recreational soccer league in the country. We would love to hear from you and what we can do to make your experience better.
Please take a couple of minutes to take a brief survey here:
We will continue to answer emails and will keep you updated through our blogs and social media accounts.
Stay safe and stay healthy! We’ll see you on the pitch in no time.
Hey Gotham Fam!
We just wanted to remind you that matches will be postponed for the next month. The health and safety of our players is our top priority and we’ll be back on the pitch once it’s safe to do so.
Dear Gotham Soccer Family,
We have been monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely and it's something we are taking seriously. We will be proceeding with our leagues and matches nationwide per usual, but we do want to provide a few extra precautions to make sure you, as well as your fellow teammates and opponents continue to be in a safe environment when stepping onto the pitch. We are closely monitoring updates form the Center for Disease Control (CDC) as well as any information coming out of state agencies and leadership and will keep you informed if recommendations impacting play change.
At this time, we please ask that you follow these guidelines before:
- Please contact your doctor if you have flu-like symptoms
- If you feel ill, have a fever or flu-like symptoms; please stay home
- Continue to practice good personal hygiene by washing your hands regularly as well as using alcohol-based sanitizer
- Please cover your mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing
- Do not share drinks or food with anyone who may have been recently sick
